Volunteer Information The
NIGP 65th Annual Forum and Products Exposition to be held in San Antonio, Texas is just around the corner, scheduled
for August 12-17, 2010. This year the conference is sponsored by the Texas Chapters of NIGP and your help is required to make
this the most successful conference ever!!! Volunteers are eligible for a special discounted registration rate and re-certification
points. Specific duties will be assigned by the Host Committee. The following is a list of the committees and their
responsibilities available for volunteer assignment; Chapter Event-responsible for main social event, decorations,
etc Golf Tournament-responsible for planning and organizing the golf tournament Communications-responsible for
securing in-kind donations for on-site communications to include cell phones, copiers, fax, audio visual equipment Host-responsible
for chapter booth during registration, delegate bags Information Technology-responsible for create and maintain
forum website Local Information-responsible for providing local information, brochures, local maps, etc Marketing-responsible
for assisting the host committee Products Exposition-responsible for providing qualified leads to NIGP of potential exhibitors Social Events-responsible for planning and organizing extracurricular activities for spouses and guests Transportation-responsible
for securing specialized transportation for delegates with special needs, airport staffing VIP-responsible for VIP gifts,
VIP dinner Volunteer-responsible for securing volunteers to work throughout conference
